I don’t want to diminish the Blazers or Rockets but at the the same time, I’m not trying to hype them up. They are good, solid teams and if this was that 08-10 LAL, 13/14 SAS, 15-2019 GSW, I would not be saying that path is “brutal”. But for 35 year old LeBron, AD and relying on Kuz/Waiters/KCP to be your 3rd contributor....that’s a brutal path to overcome.
If we want to keep it 100, I don’t think that’s a brutal path for the Clippers tbh. Tough or difficult? Sure.
We all know how important matchups are in the playoffs and the Lakers might face some extremely challenging ones upfront.

Every day my personal interest shifts more and more towards seeing who grabs that 9-seed (I think Memphis will be out). I don’t see any seen any of those teams beating Portland back-to-back, though.

Lakers definitely get a first round bye. Portland is a bottom 5 defensive team with terrible personnel on that end. They (or Memphis or New Orleans or Phoenix or Sacramento) arent getting enough stops to win more than one game.

If anyone on this blazers team plays as bad as Kat and Wiggins did then maybe I'll understand. Them dudes lost in 5 games by an average of damn near 20 points but they were supposed to be better competition. Kat had 13 points in the first two games combined. That's pure hate plain and simple
