That lineup of Chalmers and Cole in at the same time killed our run in the 4th.
Beasley is wasting his time on this team if Spo doesn't use him for at least 7 minutes a game.

Lewis was guarding West with Bosh in foul trouble. So that wasn't entirely a bad call

i been told yall i hate Spo's decisions. we woulda won that game had the refs reviewed wade's 3. it was strange they decided not to. his heel was CLEARLY up but they just assumed and let it go. oh well. lebron had some clutch turnovers late in the 4th, bosh missed. its as simple as that. the last play was the right play.

This game wasn't lost on that last play. It was lost by the players who turned the ball over 7 times in the 4th quarter. Wade was out down the stretch and Bosh was in fould trouble. They couldn't score when the Pacers were on a run.
Add in the fact West made a lucky three pointer and you have a Heat loss. At the end of the day, this game gives me more confidence that the Heat can and will beat the Pacers in the playoffs. So many things have to go right for the Pacers to win.

If Beasley would have played this game who does he guard? He can't guard West or Hibbert and he doesn't stretch the floor on offense. Beasley is more of a mid range shooter who occasionally slashes to the basket and shoots threes.
Without Ray Allen I think Rashard Lewis filled in quite nicely. He fits the system better and has more experience in the Heat's system.

It's almost like pick your poison I guess. To me our defense is vastly overrated this season. Nobody on this team is plying lock down defense. If you like Rashard in better that's fine, but his defense wasn't anything to praise going against either big on the Pacers and for 24minutes 4points? He can definitely sit at least 14 of those 24minutes with that production.
Number wise Beasley is just as if not more effiencent then LeBron is when given the opportunity. I'm not saying start Beas or give him 27+ minutes but the kid should be at least getting 15+ minutes per game.
And Swagtastic - while the game was in progress I even posted in this thread that with Cole-Chalmers-Lewis in at the sametime versus a team like the Pacers is terrible! They can't guard anyone on the Pacers nor could they score or take it to the basket. Spo has got to see those things and let Beas Free!

Low Key when beas is in the game, he starts jacking up shots we don't need, I see why spo sits him for the most part.

Watching The Heat play in the play offs, and making fun of the Lakers and Knicks fans not making the play offs is going to be fun for me.

i agree with spo shoulda let beasley in. he may not have been able to lock up anybody out there... but he woulda contributed more than rashards 4 pts. and remember, 2 of those 4 came from free throws. thats pathetic. cole and chalmers should never be on the floor together. thats a waste of a spot, possibly 2. i dont know why we bother having a pg on the floor at all. lebron is the only one who brings the ball up. that was part of the problem in the 4th, in those last 5 minutes, lebron was the only one bringing the ball up. he was running the clock down to like 7 seconds EVERY TIME without moving the ball or running a play. hed literally just walk up...dribble in place... dribble some more.... ok 6 seconds left? jack up a shot or bumrush the rim.

The refs never seem to call the game accurately. The Wade 3 was the 2nd worst call of the night. To me the B.S. Bron elbow on Hibbert was the worst call of the game. U can tell he did that inadvertently but the refs as predicted gave Bron a Flagrant 1. There where other blatant calls the refs missed but I don't want to go down that route.

how was the season thread after we loss? i usually dont post much when im at home on my days off... well we can look at the lost by 2 points at their home court and they have the HCA, we have a good chance of beating them at home in the playoffs...
good to see haslem do well out there... oden was getting worked by hibbert....
