Two words my man, Rocky Point. About a 3 hour drive away and better then any beaches you'll find in NY. If thats too far the Salt River or Roosevelt Lake will hold down the inner redneck in you until more suitable conditions arise

Everyone here drives, from old to young and from rich to poor. Also in PHX and Tucson, you're never really that far from a grocery store anyways

In manhattan it's gonna be hard to find someone with a backyard but in the other boroughs it's not a difficult task at all. Even connected houses have their own backyard. There's just a gate separating them like there's a gate separating those who don't have attached houses.
