Twitter History of Public Figures...Warrented Outrage, or Not?

Twitter is really a place where people talk as if we live in a Utopia instead of reality.

OF COURSE a PR team is going to drop damaging news the quietest way possible & it worked

Was wondering why Lemon kept popping up on my feed.

Just watched the video.

Much ado about nothing...hit dogs hollering.

The same folks will swear Madonna looks great

What's wrong with old folks being old and young folks being young?

They are killing the decision here, but I wonder if anyone will show that same fire in person.

I'm not 100% familiar with Rice's domestic violence case or the work he has done since then to atone for it, so I'll just speak generally.
Domestic violence is a truly heinous crime, but hanging that over someone's head for the rest of their life strongly de-incentivizes trying to change and atone for it.

If anything, celebrities have the added issue that even if they are genuine in their attempts to atone etc, a large amount of people will automatically just see it as 'disingenuous PR from a rich celebrity trying to do damage control'.
