More politicians, church leaders and community organizers NEED to start talking like this. Start talking about the real problem which is the household these monsters come from and how most of them would truly be better off by just being locked.

The key word to me that Mayor Bowser mentioned was “family”. Family would imply a two-parent household. These repeat juvenile offenders that we mention in here don’t come from families, they come from a broken one-parent household. When you think of these “families”………you think of mama and the kids. Same destructive cycle of existence repeating itself over and over again in our community. Start fining the parent and or offer jail time for them if they can’t pay.

Well well well…….just like I stated. The other little monster that ran away and left his “friend” for dead gasping for air as he took his last few breaths here on Earth was captured and arrested today. The age of this local terrorist is just 12 years old. They are starting out younger and younger.

As far as his punishment goes, this 12 year old should be handcuffed to the casket rails of his friend who got shot and died. He should be forced to look at his dead friends cold body in the casket days upon end. Give him an opportunity to get closer to his friend than he ever was when he was alive.

Quite possibly……YES. If the standard is that for every time your child gets arrested or for every charge your child gets then yes I’m all for any parent getting fined for their child’s out of control behavior.

I do APPLAUD the mother for turning her son in. I imagine that had to hard for her to be done…….but for the sake of the community, she did the right thing. That being said the article said the mother was seeking help for her son. To that I say the mother had all the help she needed for her son……..just reach out to the child’s father. Just like she reached out to the father to help create their son, she should have reached out to the father….who should be her husband to reel the boy back in.

Also, how and or why is her 12 year old son out at 10pm on a Saturday night?? This boy was heading in the wrong direction long before he watched his friend die that night.

He wants the kids that just committed armed robbery, armed carjacking, quite possibly murder even to have more soap.

Actually what you did SHOULD have bearing truth be told. I really believe that’s one thing that other countries do that we should incorporate. If you steal in some countries you literally get your hands chopped off. Fear and punishment should go hand in hand.

If some of those kids in there committed heinous crimes which ALOT of in them did, then to me they should be treated accordingly……..with great harshness. Why should a kid that just MURDERED somebody be given favorable treatment and have someone advocating for them to get them soap. You want soap……..stay out of jail. It’s a simple as that.

Yep, nobody wants to hear it because it’s not an immediate fix. They just want more cops and more jails and think there’s gonna solve everything when it never has.

I’m not getting on YOU DCAllAfrican but let me be clear……these are not rehab centers and we shouldn’t look at these juvenile facilities as rehab centers. They should be looked at as prisons because that’s exactly where these kids are going to end up. I say start them off right and given them exactly what they are asking for a deserve.

Did you see the viral video that you posted yesterday?? We have young kids…….rather young monsters contemplating and debating if it’s better to commit armed robbery or murder. There’s ABSOLUTELY NO REHAB or REHAB PROCESS for a large portion of these kids. We need to understand that some of these kids are beyond saving. That’s hard for a lot of people to understand. If they can’t be saved they need to be treated as such.

Those kids don’t have life sentences. They’re going to go back out into society. Yes, maybe some are “beyond saving” but if you aren’t even TRYING to rehab them you’re doing everyone else an even bigger disservice when they’re back on the streets in however many years. It’s a short sighted, failed strategy.
