I feel bad for the troops who are being pulled out of Afghanistan/Iraq, thinking they won't go to war again for a few months, yet most will just end up being sent to Lybia.
What I don't get is why Obama and the UN, won't let things take its course and only if they overthrow Gadfi, and the rebel forces can't find a definite leader, then they should step in.

Not doing something to the US isn't a very good reason for a dictator to remain in power.

Libyan freedom fighters want help to overthrow Gaddafi. Meanwhile, Gaddafi commits genocide and the Obama says he supports the ouster of Gaddafi. A no-fly zone is about a week too late.

A No Fly Zone means no troops on the ground, just air strikes. Most of them will probably be from France and Britain.

The Muslim faith at this time is at the same age Christianity was during the Crusades, around 12/1300 years old.
with time, I believe they will follow the same path and have people shying away from extreme violence for their sect of islam they belong to.
If Christianity started 600 years later, they would be at this stage at the same time and will end up having people doing the same thing.
