I prefer to cook my boyfriend's favorite dishes myself rather than going to a restaurant and waiting 2+ hours.all those people.

Fellas, fast food restaurants i.e. Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, Applebee's etc. are not a good look in valentines day. Try to reserve a more intimate, non-chain restaurant for the night if that's what you choose to do. Especially if you guys have been together for a while. And if it's too late to reserve a nice spot, cook!

well my girl flight could be cancel due to all this winter storm ish
every flight within the next 2 days cancelled except hers and 1 more ..so maybe there still hope but idk

Gona take it old school this yr and make a scrapbook outlying the 13 yrs we've been together.
Did something similar back in my broke days. She revealed a while back that this was the most memorable gift compared to Burberry purses, MAC sprees and all that materialistic stuff.

Just got her a Pandora Bracelet as last resort with two 1K money orders for some shoes that I was not able to get.
I placed the money orders inside the box - if I see the disappointment face when she opens the box - then I'll hint that there's more - if she's happy I'll get the money orders at a later time and use them for something else ... lol
