G2 is a beast. My sous chef just got one. In our job we get no service. Roaming at best. He went a day and a half before his phone finally died. The camera is crazy as well as the screen. If lg slacks on updates just root it. I'm waiting for it to drop on sprint. It's going to have a gsm Sim slot too so I might get it for 200 stay on sprint then jump on T-Mobile.

Da N5 is supposed to launch Tuesday
nerd.gif
Hopefully. I doubt it tho. I think it's gonna be sometime during the last week of October. I actually just thought about how they could tie in Kit Kat with Halloween while writing this post.

Getting paid on tuesday, so all they have to do is say the word.

Don't look now, but Pantech just managed to combine five hot smartphone trends in one device. Its new, 5.9-inch Vega Secret Note centers on a fingerprint reader that hides personal info. However, that's just the start of a feature list that includes seemingly every major trick we've seen in the past few months -- there's also pen input, a rear touch sensor, LTE-Advanced data and an optional windowed front cover. It's no slouch in the performance department, either. On top of its big 1080p screen, the Vega Secret Note packs a Snapdragon 800 chip, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter and 32GB of storage with USB host support. Pantech hasn't said when its new flagship arrives, although it should reach all three major South Korean carriers for an estimated 900,000 won ($839) off-contract.

Wait so the Galaxy Note 3 got out Note-d by a device called the Secret Note? Look at the specs y'all must read this. :lol

Can't wait for 4.4. 4.3 has been a mess in the dev community, at least for the N4.

This 4.3 update for the One is SMOOOOTH. I love it, can't wait for Sense 5.5 (if I'm still alive).

Repost...y'all not about to ignore this awesomeness lol

Specs are just specs. I'd need to see real world reviews to be sold, especially once I saw Pantech.

My dude they just overlooking it like I was posting about the Motorola Cliq.

All it does is prove to me that this thread should be renamed "The OFFICIAL Samsung, HTC, Nexus, and sometimes LG and Sony Android Thread". But this is first and foremost a sneaker site and shoe heads tend to lean more on the hype side of things and that mentality kind of leaks over to the non-shoe related threads in here.

Even in my gun thread the talk is more about the high end stuff, when in reality there are more than a few reliable well working firearms outside the more recognized brands. Man some of you guys in here remind me of cellphone salesman that's out there. You ask a question like "what's a good phone for my lady...she has small hands and she dislikes the bigger screened phones" and dude be like "we have the Galaxy Note 3 coming out in two weeks she'll LOVE that".

All that to say NOBODY questions specs when it's from a manufacturer, but when it's from a company nobody really knows about then it's like "it's just specs". Little do peeps know Samsung has a %10 investment interest in Pantech, so it's not just some rinky dink company.

Android phones need consistent updates to bug fixes. No one trusts LG or Sony to do that.

dont the note 3 & that secret note have the same specs other than the slightly bigger screen, rear sensor & fingerprint reader?
meh, especially since as of now it's more expensive than the note 3 & im assuming it wouldn't have the same amount of support from devs.

can someone please explain what the hell google is doing with these chromebooks?
like why even bother launching a new 11inch hp model when it has the same specs & battery life of the old model?
the ability to charge via microUSB is practically the only new useful feature.
