Think I'm gonna go with Spigen slim armor, doesn't look like it takes away from the form factor.

Leaving #TeamNaked behind.

I cut my sim card, but it won't register to T-Mobile. Anyone else having the same problem? I called and gave them the IMEI number as well.

You cut the Sim card yourself? You brave b

I'm a bad picture taker I'll let someone with more photo skills post some pics

Yea, that was the easy part. It's all plastic for the most part. They're trying to charge $20 at T-mobile for a micro-sim. I have one being mailed in for free that I ordered last week so I just decided to do it myself until it gets here. I think my sim is from like 2007, but the phone still has the 2g bands so idk what's up with it. I'll throw in my friends sim card when he gets to my house to see if it's the phone or not.

Suddenly the big icons are looking much better. Can't wait for mine. Thursday.
They're honestly not that big.. They're a good size when you look at them on your screen.. On my n3 running Google experience launcher them joints were humungo. On here they're just right :hat

And :x at $20 Sim cards.. I usually just go into att when I need my Sim cut down..they got that little tool and do it quick for free

Fellow Gnex users, @fraij da 5 11  is having trouble with his Gnex. It's rooted running CM. It can recieve texts but can't send them. Any suggestions?

So far I'm enjoying it..the screen is nice, blacks aren't black like the n3 but that's a given amoleds got DA blacks down. The power button is kind of jiggly like there's a rattle you won't notice it unless you actually shake your phone just something I've noticed because I read the xda forums and some people had similar issues. Its not a big deal and can be fixed if you wanted to stop it. But yeah its smooooth, way smoother than the n3 in every category..web browsing scrolling and everything else there is no stutter whatsoever..the n3 even with the beast stats had stuttering here and there..probably a touchwiz thing. Sorry for wall of text

I haven't had a full day so I can't really say much else..only thing that worries me potentially is battery. I will find out tomorrow when I take it for a run

seems like xposed wouldnt get updated for a while.
custom roms are needed asap.
:x having to turn on the screen just to change the song every time
:x first world problems?

Just took some pics with the N5 and its pretty decent (see below). I left everything on stock settings and so far they look great. After a full days use (mostly games) I am now at 39% battery and my GNex is at 23%. Overall the phone is pretty good and I will probably cancel my Verizon service within the month.

I see.. then I have no flippin clue

funny s3 people in xda dev forum is counting down for 4.3 tonight but the s4 didnt even get it, they are going to be hurt

Just a heads up, when they do those dates it doesn't mean everyone gets the update at the same time.

I think the UK was just starting to get their 4.3 updates.

I didn't mind cutting it myself. Paying $20 for a new sim card when I have one on the way for free is ridiculous tho. I asked if I could buy one and just return the one I got in the mail, but I guess you can't return sim cards. My sim is definitely outdated tho, I looked at my friends micro-sim and the connections are different. I'll just call around tomorrow and see if another store has free sim cards.

i dont think my phone stutters at all

I cut my Sim yesterday. Printed a PDF from online that helps you draw the cut lines. Took me 10 minutes.

Put home made microsim in slot and I was good to go.

Oh and the Nexus 5 battery life is OK at best.

Not bad for first charged for my N5, was up at 6am this morning, did some heavy used during noon time w/ google navigation & streaming google music with blutooth in my car for a good 2-3 hours today, and heavy texting w/hangout and viber and moderate web browsering ....

-if it's anything like its brother the LG G2, battery should get better over time i hope?

Maybe mine is defective..scrolling through the browsers even on nt you can see the thing stutter even when the page is fully loaded. Don't know maybe its doesn't stutter and the 5 is just smoother and I noticed it right away. Maybe I'm wrong it isn't a tw thing. One thing I will miss is battery life that was guaranteed all day usage for what I did no problems.

Either way gonna most likely sell the n3 due to lack of anything going on in the development section. Its a great phone, I just need to do things with my android devices and having one and not doing anything to it didn't feel right ..with the n3 I didn't really have a choice :lol

I use a sim card cutter.

Came with an adapter too.

Since it was my first full day with the phone I wanted to test it so normal use should be a lot better
