Nothing wrong with the stock experience.

Hell, minus a data transfer rate icon in the status bar, my phone looks stock.

There's elegance in simplicity.
I do not doubt that one bit. In fact thats what ROMS like CM do. Make things faster and cleaner.

LOOKING stock and RUNNING like stock are two completly different things

If you have a manufacturer skin and bloatware on top (like touchwiz for example) your phone will be slowed down.

I run stock on my N5. Not tech savy enough to do all those ROMS/flash/kernel...

N5 IS pure google/stock you good fam don't worry!

You could root your phone but other than that its pretty much perfect software wise (IMO)

Swiftkey was laggy as a MF on my G2. Went back to the Google Keyboard, no problems.

Def. Gonna get a G3 in August...T-Mobile 6month upgrade is clutch lol

I concur, Swiftkey would lag like hell these past few months on my G2. Would take like 10 secs to open fully.

But on my N5 it runs smooth as it should.

I downloaded SwiftKey on my m8 on Thursday. It's not bad but I notice slight lag sometimes. It's a sweet keyboard though

I just found another issue with my phone dammit. HTC one m8 on T-Mobile

Every now and then I will stop getting texts like 1-2 hours then after that I just get them all at once. Pretty darn annoying

Anyone else experiencing this?

Just got a new sd card. Is there an easy way of transferring over my files from my old one to the new one besides dragging and dropping?

I'm stock. I got sick of running into stupid errors all the time and wasting time looking for Roms. I'm straight on modding my phone now it's annoying to me. Before my n5 I was always running a ROM since the my touch 4g

Bugs are low key annoying. But when your phones bloated like hell, as is my ATT Galaxy S5, you need a ROM

I am and I still don't. Stock with xpose is all I need. Roms were cool for a bit, but since I've gotten older I don't have too much time to tinker around. Plus xpose has a lot of useful stuff that different Roms have anyway.

I just find a ROM that suites my needs (in my case some stable aosp ROM for my g2) and leave it at that, I don't have to time to be flashing ROMs every few days like I used to.

AOSP are the only ROMs even worth flashing

True in most cases. Not always tho.

For example I run cleanrom on my Gs3.

I don't like TouchWiz that much but I suffer horrid battery drain on the recent cm builds.

Cleanrom is what you think it is. An very finely stripped down version of TouchWiz which also allows me multi window and other features that are not included in an AOSP rom.

Yes of course the phone runs much faster on cm but if u have to be on TouchWiz it sure as hell won't be what Samsung and Verizon give me :lol

havent been in this thread in forever.. im a pure/stock google guy had the galaxy nexus and usin an n4 right now
whats good with the new LG G3 tho? specs is lookin good too..

Grew tired of AOSP ROMS. Don't want to lose the HTC sense features(camera, beats, WiDi etc..) I do use Google Experience launcher for Google Now features.
