I still don't get why you guys are upset about the branding. It wouldn't matter if you're going to put a case on it (except for the verizon one).

Im not too stuck on branding either. But seeing as sprint can have a completely clean phone why cant the others? If it comes down too it the rear cover is removable on the tmo version so im not upset.

my n5 is out of commission. works but with a shattered glass screen not tryin to risk cutting my fingers lol. so ive been messing with a spare white on white moto x.
solid phone. for the deals you can get this phone at, its a hard bargain to beat. pure android, already at 4.4.2 and is COMFORTABLE. not to say n5 wasn't, but the industrial design with this phone was on point. a lot of screen size of the overall package. not as fast as n5, but its fast and gets anything i want it to done without problem. N5 is the perfect size for my hands, so im surprised the x is working out great for me as well.
i downloaded the google now launcher apk and im good
might stick with this and save the $$ for a bit. my cell phone may get covered by my job next year so i may go back to verizon anyways.

I picked up an Oppo Find 7... The QHD version in Astro Black. It's a beautiful phone. The OS sucks, needless to say I put a custom ROM on. It's a nice phone and that skyline notification light is a nice touch.

I also got the oppo find 7. I had to go through a whole rigmole to obtain it, but I finally got it. The color OS version 1.2 sucks so I deleted the OS off of my phone and put the international version of color OS V2 on there which is significantly better. The phone is probably the best and if not one of the best phones out on the market in terms of hardware.The 50 megapixel photos are pretty cool and you can see the differencein picture quality vs the standard 13 megapixel pics on the phone. One of the few gripes I have with the phone is the memory partioning that they have on the phone where only 3gbs of the phones memory is dedicated to apps, but from my understanding they should be coming out with a fix for that. Plus I got a 32 gb sd in so it doesn't bother me.I wish the speakers were on the bottom of the phone instead of being on the back of the phone. Despite that, the speakers are pretty loud. Oppo is also helping with the roms and such so I expect the phone to get better.

Xposed Framework now has the Android L heads up notifications. Now all they need are the lockscreen ones, I'd rather not use a third party app cause all the ones I've tried come with so much battery drain
I also spent the weekend using Hangouts as my main texting app, they finally got all the bugs worked out it seems, if only they could add a Dark theme, I might just flash the Team Blackout version of Hangouts

I didn't know you could do that already. The largest microSD I've heard of has 128 gigs. (It might be a mistake)

^I think because the way the phone is designed it has the ability to go up to 2TB but yes the largest microSD cards are only up to 128gb for now.
