Damnit. I'm torn between getting an M8 or the G3...

Or should I wait for something else...?

M8 bro all the way, the camera on it is insane. When you press the button it snaps the pic and save it right away. The phone is super fast.. Its a beast

My initial impression of the M8 was that it was too tall.

A little more than a week with it I still think that it's a bit long, though it's becoming less of an inconvenience.

Snappy, great screen, really good sound.

The build quality of the M8 is unreal. Other than a Sony Xperia i'm not sure many compare in that aspect.

Bought the g3 at best buy. Pretty cool phone, wish it was 5.2 instead of 5.5. Coming from the m7 i can feel the difference from material to the size of it. Also, I probably got use to the boom sound from HTC, but the speaker for the g3 is not bad.

Besides all the things you know about like the 801 snapdragon processor, 3GB of ram, 64GB memory/storage, the phone is a beast. I've had it for about a week now and the phone is just incredible. There is no lag whatsoever on this phone and I've been able to get a full day's use out of it and that's with using it heavy for media consumption.

I've never owned a Nexus ever, so I don't know. But I've had the phone for a week now and I absolutely love it. If you're a power user who consumes alot of Nextflix, twitter, facebook, Crunchy roll etc, then you're gonna love this phone because the battery life is absolutely incredible!
