The pixel 3 buggy as heck sometimes. Swipe up to see recent apps and it puts the search bar over recently used apps. Youtube is super wonky at different times. Speakers sound awful, very muddy and vibrate the phone crazy. I havent been real pleased with my first pixel experience so far.

Got my parents the OP6T with the tmobile trade in promotion (traded in a nexus 6 and OP2 ) and man that phone is great. They absolutely love them. The notch is so small you don't even notice it. Beautiful screens, lightning fast, feels great in hand, AND each phone comes with a very nice case inside the box. Only thing that's mediocre is the camera, but for my parents it gets the job done and more. $280 each out the door

The iPhone 7 is still $450
An iPhone 8 is $600
And those are phones with 4.7 inch displays and huge bezels...
If I didn't just cop an Essential phone for my dad over the summer I would've gotten him a OP6T

Was thinking of trading or selling my Pixel 2XL for the 6T but I really don't have any complaints. This is as close to a perfect I've ever had. Hate what they did to the 3XL design and all the bugs being reported to top it off.

If you absolutely need the best camera keep the pixel. Otherwise the 6t is a better phone imo. The camera is good but not pixel good
