What are you looking for?  Here are my top ones..

Apps
I use Dolphin Browser for Internet.
Chop SMS for Messaging with Sms Popup for alerts
Winamp for Music (though there are a lot of good ones and I rotate a lot.  Try "3" (Cubed))
FX Camera for photos
Google Sky for a map of the stars
Movies for Movie Times and Trailers
Ringdroid for Free Custom Ringtones
Rockplayer for video playback (plays every time of file Ive needed so far)
Where's my Droid (text your phone and it rings for 5 minutes even if on silent)
I like Dialer One because my stock Dialer didnt have a good search function
Doggcatcher for podcasts - not perfect but pretty good
AppBrain is a good alternative to the Market
Folder ORganizer to organize apps, contacts, shortcuts - a really key one

For launchers I like LauncherPro - just allows for more customization.

For Widgets I like Beatiful Widgets (not free).  There are a ton of clocks out there - Tajm is a popular one that features words instead of numbers.  I like Simiclock.
I used beatiful calendars agenda widget. I rotate Battery Widgets but i like one that just goes into the notification bar.

Thats a start - let me know what you are looking for specifically and I can do my best

a great resource is androidforums.com  - a lot of useful stuff and nice posters

It's the LauncherPro calendar. Some one on XDA made a bunch of custom template .apk's for the widgets.

\

I have launcher pro, but I don't see that calendar. Where would I find it? I really want a nice fullscreen calendar like that.

Uninstall both the task killer and battery meter, your doing more damage then trying to improve battery life.

You can use that clock app you have as a battery meter go into the setings of the clock app and you'll see it there, play with it a little.

However having a app to determine battery life defeats the purpose of actually saving battery life. The app is consuming some sort of memory and cpu usage to tell the batt life, also the Task killer is completely useless if your mutiltasking why are you killing apps that you'll need if your jumping back and forth, the app will have to keep reloading if you kill it.
