why should anyone be surprised? apple puts out 1 phone a year while android is on at least 10 phones a year

Apple has been putting out 1 phone every year, Android has been putting out 10+ phones out every year. But the market share is changing pretty rapidly even as recently as Q2. So while it's not 'surprising' it's definitely newsworthy and its good to know (more Android success = more Android investment from developers/Google/phone manufacturers = more apps = better phone/software)

Anyways my dad has an upgrade available and he hates smart phones, likes his old school flip phone lol. Might get the SGS2 and see what's up.
