Yes he did.

And T'Challa would be in the right to imprison him. All Killmonger would do is use Wakandan weapons to topple regimes on his own or to keep plotting T'Challa's downfall.

As for who was the better fighter talk I think they're tied.

Killmonger definitely beat T'Challa at the first part of the challenge. He just stupidly threw him off a cliff instead of slitting his throat.

The 2nd fight though, T'Challa beat him definitively and didn't hesitate on the killing blow.

Dudes trying to soften him up and bring up mad red herrings like Bucky.

Killmonger shouldn't compromise at all and neither should T'Challa. One had to die. Only one did the actual killing.

The suits weren't working while those vibrational sound pillars were on.

As for the heart shaped herb power so what? Are you saying the one T'Challa got gave him more power than the one Killmonger got?

If you're saying Killmonger is a better fighter than T'Challa and they both got the same power boost then Killmonger should've won.

but more experience
could be the thing that puts one over on the other

T'Challa did nothing with the suit that Killmonger didn't do in that fight.

The suits weren't working anyway. He specifically tells Shuri to turn on the train platform so the those pillars can negate the powerups of the suits.

Experience with the suit didn't matter.

Killmonger has just as much experience fighting if not more than T'Challa.

Secondly, T'Challa didn't have years of experience with the suit. He just got that suit in that movie.

Shuri specifically said she made upgrades. The suit in Civil War is not the same suit in Black Panther. The Civil War suit was just bullet proof and had vibranium claws.

I feel like once Killmonger got rid of T’Challa he went from expert level fighter to warlord like tactician.

I mean next scene after the heart shaped herb he’s wearing the Leopard Habit necklace already, I think his motives were on starting this new wakandan order rather than being a hand to hand combat specialist who’s sole intent was to kill his cousin.

That was part of his downfall, he had a lot of plans in motion and he was reliant upon the suit during the final battle cuz Killmonger or not without the habit he wouldn’t have been able to take on Okoye and 3 other Dora.

When it came down to hand to hand combat with no heart shape herb enhancement for T’Challa or himself without the habit; he washed son while basically only getting a scratch on his face lol.
 
Yeah he really was done with it.

Like T'Challa shows back up and he said nah we done with that challenge ****, execute the mission asap! and then sent the army to kill him.

I did not expect things to escalate that way. I figured he beat him once he'd just go to beat him again.

and that kinetic energy
 
T’Challa had also ingested the heart shaped herb 8 years prior to Killmonger, experience with superhuman strength speed and senses had to play some role in Erik taking an L at the end.

At the end we can only try to rationalize so much in a world with Panther gods and metal that can basically do whatever you want it to do lol.
 
In other news can’t wait to see this Shuri x Bruce Banner x Tony Stark collab on the new Hulkbuster.

I could really see them using Shuri as a pseudo Ironheart. Or ala iron man 2 she gets her own Panther habit.

That's where the main power up comes from.

Without that its just a bullet proof suit with vibranium claws. Experience wearing that doesn't matter.

And besides that the SUITS WEREN'T WORKING ANYWAY.

Just got back home from the movies. Black Panther was fire!!!! Storyline, acting, graphics, and the cast was all A+!!!

Even though Michael B Jordan was a bad guy, he played the hell out of his character. He was more ruthless then any other marvel character on screen that I can remember. BP sister was funny as hell too. Chick from the walking dead was great. BP himself was amazing. I thought the Gorilla Tribe leader was hilarious, especially towards the end. Agent Ross was good. The OGs Angela Bassett and Forest Whittaker gave solid performances. Lastly, I was disappointed in the guy from the movie Get Out. Not to spoil anything, but... yeah... he was a punk in the movie...

I didn’t know Ryan Coogler had it in him to direct a action movie of this caliber. He’s one Hollywood’s brightest young stars acting or directing.

Maybe I’m living in the moment, but this to me was the best Marvel movie made so far. Definitely will be seeing it again before the weekend is up.

All it does is enhance your strength and speed and senses..

Killmonger is an expertly trained highly skilled fighter.

Batman wouldn't need years of experience if he got Superman's strength and speed to beat the **** out of Superman.

He didnt need much time adjusting washing 5 Dora Milaje and killing another.

T'Challa beat him straight up in that fight.

Just got back in from the movie and loved it to many thoughts to process right now to go into detail and its late asf lol.

My theater handed these out did this happen at anyone else's showing?!?! Got me so hype walking into the theater
