Too many femme-fatale type movies out, past and present, they are going to have to be as imaginative as they can get with her in a spy role.
 
now i remember why I couldn't put Civil War on my top 5. Fighting was so inconsistent to me,
WS/BP/Cap free for all, giving each other work. BW, fighting WS a few times they werent even but she was doing work. Spiderman was looking super OP until he fought with Cap which basically out strengthened him when his hands got webbed up... Bucky fighting IM holding his arm back while he pulled at the power suit. This movie had a good plot. but was all over the place

The whole world would still exclude SHIELD, that employs a bunch of spies who spy on the entire world.

If there's anybody that knew or had an idea about T'Challa/Wakanda/Black Panther(s) its Nick Fury's SHIELD and that would include Black Widow.

I mean you think only Klaw tried to get vibranaium from Wakanda?

I personally don't think she knew. She could have easily taken that to mean that T'Challa would use his own wealth to track down Winter Soldier. I also think about her line in TWS when she says that she only pretends to know everything. Of course, deception is a key part of espionage but that scene played out like she was having an honest moment.
 
she's been thrown in chaos so much, and he's the only one that really wanted nothing to do with it. she wanted a new reality, something different.
It was also sort of a win for the little guy. Although i think big bang theory covered that for most. but for those that dont watch bbt. It was sort of the hot chick can go for the nerds too and be fine. Even though we all know what banner can do.
 
I think Whedon did it to be able to tell a Beauty and the Beast plot

The thing about Whedon is that he loves a sense of irony. Any way he can tell an arc with irony in it he'll go for it.
 
But Banner can't even smash though. Anything that gets his blood pressure up makes him Hulk out, lol
 
Avoided this thread for a minute now until I saw BP yesterday, lived up to all the expectations :pimp:. Great performances all around, esp Michael B, Gurira, Letitia Wright and low key Serkis killed his time in the MCU. I really liked the change in Killmongers attitude towards who he viewed as opponents throughout the film going from not really giving Klaue necessarily the respect or time of day worthy of someone of his stature and shifting that mentality a little when he got to Wakanda and went for the throne. It'd be neat to have a little more background on how Shuri took over the whole tech development of Wakanda or she could just be a child prodigy and technological savant so no explanation necessary :lol:. Maybe it was just the tiny little art house theater that I saw it in but to me the fight scene in the casino felt a little choppy and scatterbrained which made it a little hard to take in even though that particular bit was very short.

Absolute :pimp::pimp:, probably go back for another watch next week or so.
 
I had to rewatch the casino scene in slow motion. It really highlights the how cold Okoye was with the needle.

A shame cuz there's some alt universe comic basis for Steve hooking up with Natasha. I think for one of the Secret Wars events. Then they did a whole kids of the Avengers and they have a son.
