I remember being at the Cinerama and the whole crowd went nuts when his targeting system locked on and he engaged them. It was crazy because every enemy up til this point was of Earth in the MCU (except Loki but was primarily on Asgard), so seeing Tony going from taking on technologically advanced baddies, to an alien armada was crazy, AND he was putting in work!

Banner told Tony 'Thor is gone.' Pretty sure he must've told Cap this too.

As a God from asgard I'm sure there was plenty of times Thor has been off planet since a1, but it's different to know that he can't physically return at any time.
