Without Blade there would of been no Spiderman, no Ironman, no Avengers, no Black Panther. Marvel were on the verge of bankruptcy until Snipes came in and gave them a hit movie to build from. It’s mighty funny how quick they were to ditch him as soon as they started becoming successful.

I don't know Roberts full background but I think Bale had quite a few hits under his belt before Batman right.

I mean did it really? X-MEN was already in the works at the time Blade was released and it almost tripled it. Bode deserves credit. But I think X-MEN success was more of an influence.
