Natalie was probably mad as hell. She only signed on to Thor 2 because Patty Jenkins was going to direct it. Then Patty got replaced by the guy from HBO and Janes character got turned into a damsel in distress.

Being told you become Thor can heal a lot of wounds though :lol:
 
  • Huge **** you to Snipes. Wasn't he lobbying and politicing with Marvel to get this done? Ali is cool, but that's who people associate the character with. He can act and is still in shape. Blade also ages like a human so tech isn't necessary.
  • Jane Foster being in Thor is a bad idea. Ragnarok excelled because it wasn't centered around her.

Again, X-characters aint getting cast now.

Bernthal would be better off waiting the 2 years to reprise being Frank in a Daredevil or Thubderbolts movie.

He gonna be a bit too old to play Wolverine by the time X-Men get going.

Eh it was more than just her leaving. Thor 1 had “charm” for what it was but both movies were just ...... cookie cutter? Paint by numbers? Don’t know how to describe them.

The first two focused heavily on her though. She's not a good actress and her character isn't all that interesting

Kinda, but they did that because they, at the time, tried to ground Thor into something realistic and relatable. They were still playing it safe. Thor 3 finally embraced how stupid and ridiculous a character he is. At that time marvel couldn’t miss and they took the risk. Paid off huge. Thor was trash before Thor 3

Yea if it's going to take more than 5 years to get xmen going then midas well cast someone else
