Does it irk you, or does it not bother you at all? How about amusement? Do you find it funny when you see someone "trying too hard"?

No, it doesn't bother me at all. I mean, I may not agree with what they're doing to try hard. But that's their choice and it's on them.

It gets annoying when they start pushing their reasons for trying hard and putting you down at the same time. That's when I have to say something or distance myself from them.
