What happened to men?

The only thing that grinds my gears is when a woman is all about equal everything but then has the notion and idea that a guy should pay for most things or should be the breadwinner.

Like nah, equality means equality. Don't pick and choose

"i had to check a female" ... so much wrong with this sentence & this thread, speaking to women like they're a conquest or the lesser sex, disgusting. i can tell a lot of you don't have women friends that you haven't tried to have sex with, or else you wouldn't think with such a primitive mindset. this type of mentality is why we're where we are in society today, toxic masculinity & men who want to dominate but in reality bring nothing to the table but a bunch of outdated, antiquated, ignorant ideas ...
So you never had to check a *****???? Some women act entitled to acct and say whatever they want without repercussions... If you are trying to have a conversation and a chick tells you to **** , you not gonna check her???? ...... Serious question

Again there’s a real conversation here, but would rather not deal with the extra misogynistic weirdo elements sprinkled in. And I get “check” comes off as harsh, but it’s just addressing disrespect like you would to anyone.

Yea I think dudes equate checking with hitting a woman, cursing or raising your voice at her

"In May, a survey of 2,459 people in the US conducted by two academics at Middlesex University, London, and the University of Berkeley, California, found that not only were men less likely to wear face masks in public than women, they were also more likely to agree that wearing one was “shameful, not cool and a sign of weakness” - a view that Fox News host Tomi Lahren seemingly perpetuated when she said that US Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden “might as well carry a purse with [his] mask”. A study conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation, a US NGO focused on public health issues, also found that 68 per cent of women frequently wore a mask outside the home compared to 49 per cent of men. These figures have been well-documented, leading some to label face coverings the “condoms of the face”.

“This is a trend we’ve seen in previous epidemics, with men showing more reluctance to adopt safety precautions than women” says Emma Lygnerud Boberg, gender and programme development advisor, at the International Media Centre, Denmark. It’s consistent with other data, she notes, that suggests men are less likely than women to wear seatbelts and visit their GP when they’re unwell. Previous studies have also shown that men are more likely to drive recklessly, either by speeding or by driving drunk.

That men seem willing to take greater risk in day-to-day life, says Peter Glick, bias and discrimination expert at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, boils down to harmful gender stereotypes that condition men to glorify strength and fear vulnerability. “Men are socialised to be dominant and independent,” he tells The Independent. “These traits all serve to reinforce patriarchal norms that present masculinity as a performance. For these reasons, mask-wearing can be interpreted as showing weakness among some men. It suggests they fear the virus in a very public manner, which, in turn, punctures the bravado.” It’s no wonder researchers have blamed male gender norms for having a negative impact on men’s health. Dudes are afraid of getting a colon exam, because they fear that it will make them gay.
Dudes are afraid to use lotion, because soft hydrated skin is something a woman should have. Never mind that your skin is the largest organ of the body, one that if properly hydrated? Can repel many of the germs, bacteria, viruses, those that afflict much of society. Those that do not not practice good personal hygiene either due to ignorance or ego, have no excuse. Only poverty is a valid conversation, con.
Dudes are afraid to put simple soap and water in their buttholes, a major deterrent in colon cancer, because the thought of having a clean butthole is more daunting than ya' mans finding bout that you've stuck a finger in your own bum.

I gave up on being a dumb stupid stereotypical man not listening to women, a long time ago.

I am a much better person, happier person, because of it, a much better fighter due to that as well.
