When did you break up with your ex? Have you fully gotten over it?

My wife left in May of 2009.  Moved to Texas.  We were married for 11 yrs.  I don't hate her, but I'd never get back together with her.  She's not the same person I married.  I saw it coming the last 2 yrs we were together.  I don't miss her, but sometimes I miss how things were the first 7 or 8 years.

it's been exactly a year today. this same time last year i was a complete mess, the breakup messed me up bad for a good 7-8 months. i can say i'm completely over it now. don't get me wrong i still think about her, but i'm actually happy things are the way they are. i'm in shape now and i've opened up a new network of friends. i haven't talked to her since the breakup though.

My girl and I broke up about 3 weeks ago, just as I graduated college. We dated for a little over 2 years. It sucked but I couldn't commit to her the way she wanted me too and she was getting a little too friendly with this guy she worked with. So it was for the best but the only annoying part is I moved back home for the summer and she knew this so I told her on a specific weekend when I would be there to come pick up her stuff and she never did. Now she is constantly texting me to let her come pick up her stuff as it is my fault that I am working in 3 hours away and she had ample time to come pick it up. I think that is the worst part, because I am just about over it and then she starts texting me about giving her stuff back

I guess what bothers me the most is at the end we agreed we'd still be friends, and she wont talk to me at all... at least have enough respect for me to tell me you changed your mind and don't want to be friends. The way it ended... didn't see it coming at all.

i fell for it the first time me and my ex broke up... that friendship !$** never works. Well not actual "friends". Its either you stop talking, or you end up actin like you're in a relationship while not bein in one i.e. %%$%@%$ and chillin
