im 5'9 180 and got a small and it fits pretty well (i wear a L in t shirts and a M in adidas swingman). These jerseys are really long and cut pretty slim. in your case id say try a medium. i posted a fit pic of the authentic jersey a few pages back
I'd say size up from your Adidas Swingman. These are a true fitted cut. If you're "gaining" then you probably want a little more room. I usually wear a L in Adidas Swingman, and I had to size up to XL in these for the cut around the waist to fit exactly the same.
could you do us a favor and measure the chest and length? that would greatly help out many of us between small and medium, thanks.

The black Dream Team Destroyer jacket was on swoosh discounted to 300 dollars. I didn't want the black one but was successful in getting an XL in my cart. I just was testing to see if I could do it. For some reason I couldn't choose the L. But Ithink somebody asked my question on nikestore twitter and so the blue one might be released soon..

I ordered online off FNL. The replicas do have pockets, but I'm sure the authentics (if they ever release) wouldn't.
