See when I wanna say one, I think about the other's fanbase and what they have to offer. Both are being backed by Roc Nation, but Wale gets the
one-up with being aligned with Rick Ross & MMG, so he gets more "hood cred" (even though Ross' hood cred is iffy anyway). But then again, J.Cole
has a greater female fan base (girls were goin wild in Houston, u woulda thought he was Drake), and if you don't agree, you can just look at them
and tell. Both get love on the internet, but what makes me say Wale will sell more with his debut is that since Jay-Z is directly affiliated with J.Cole,
it's a wrap already. Jay-Z doesn't know how to handle/manage artists who are already made, he just knows how to get self-made people more
exposure than they already have (e.i., Kanye, Twista, Cam'Ron, Rihanna, Nas [sort of]).
As far as me listening to them, I'm not fans of either Wale, J.Cole, and definitely not Big Sean, but I would be more likely to listen to Wale just cause Rick Ross
has a great ear for beats (other than Lex Luger's countless BMF remixes), and Wale is just easier on the ears than J.Cole and Big Sean. I do think it's
funny that Big Sean passed up J.Cole as far as mainstream success, when J.Cole had like a 2 year jump on him.
