) is that once you serve time for your crime, your punishment is up and you can rejoin civilization. If a criminal does a standard military term, which ends his sentence, why
doesn't he deserve a second chance? the benefits and health care are only fair. how the +%*! you gon send a man to risk his health in a war, but not patch him up when he gets back? It's really not fair that inmates get looked down upon like "3/5 of a man". the prison system groups non-violent offenders with the worst of the worst. The effect?
