Just read the OP again... I dunno maybe you asking the bartender what beers they had gave him the impression you werent sure what you wanted so he went to serve others who knew what they wanted.
S&@! maybe huh? [emoji]128514[/emoji]. What if I'm just trippin out haha

I'm going to assume you didn't read the OP, and that's ok. Most NTers don't. The bartender clearly knew I was next. He saw me and acknowledged me. "I'll be right with you". What else can you do after that? What if I told you that, then helped someone else that came after? What if you flashed your cash and I still didn't help you? What if I really didn't like you? Then what are you gonna do? I bet you're not about that life either.

You don't get out much huh?
View media item 2475127Some racism may have been involved, but it also sounds like this could have been attributed to you not being aggresive. Sometimes you gotta bark on the bartenders or "yooo or yer" . When asked what do you want though, you should have told the Bartender to drink out his mums piss pot and walk away.
he gets out all the time. this is at least his third thread crying about being mistreated at the bar.
Edit - maybe i got the wrong guy. post is awfully familiar though.

IDK OP. Looks like a simple case of
Today I was with my cousin waiting for the J train and he went to approach this white girl and ask her a question (not holla or anything like that). I'm a good distance away and can't hear but know what he's gonna ask because he previously asked another white girl and there were no problems.
I swear in under 2.3 seconds this white girl's reaction was as if my cuz asked to smash on the tracks. She replied loud enough and said "Wow! This is really weird. I can't do this." and stormed off
I'm looking shocked like what the **** did he say?! He's like nah I didn't even get to ask her anything. Once he said excuse me, hello she started bugging out.
I aint seen a white person's reaction to a black person like that in NYC in a long time. Even though it was a black guy approaching a white girl.
Shorty was firmly placed in the racist category in my mind.
Exactly what I would have done...[emoji]9996[/emoji][emoji]127998[/emoji]Bruh, you should've left immediately. I wouldn't have spent a dime
So you ask Why Can't Racism Just Go Away because you as an Asian man didn't get assisted in a packed bar and a few females got served before you (its male bartenders thats gonna happen)Last night I was at a bar with a couple of friends. My friend and I wanted a beer so i went up to the counter to get my order in. I expected a long wait because it was packed. After standing there for about 10 minutes I noticed something off. Everyone that came after me was served first. Keep in mind they were all white. I'm Asian and the two bartenders were male. One was white and the other was Indian/Pakistani looking (let's just call him Uncle Tom). I clearly made intentions that I wanted to buy something (asking them what beer they had and having my debit card out). After 5 minutes the Indian guy tells me "i'll be right with you." Then he proceeds to help 3 women that literally just showed up (they were all white). The white bartender makes eye contact with me then walks away to chat with his friends. Being a patient person, I try not to jump to conclusions. Then another white guy squeezes through the crowd and ends up next to me. The Indian guy goes straight to him and asks him if he can help him. The white guy says "this guy was here before me and looks like hes been waiting for a while, help him first". Honestly that made my night. I didn't even care about the beer anymore.
So the Indian guy asks me what do I need. He got me the beer really quick. I wanted to throw a drink in his face tbh. I don't know man at that point I wasn't even mad anymore, just disappointed at the fact that we still treat each other like this. I just wanted to buy my drink and bounce but they made it so dam difficult. The white bartender was nowhere to be found after a few minutes. It sucks because I just want to be nice to everyone but in this day and age, racism is still alive and well.
