Dropped my phone smh
But this is the best fast food chicken you can buy prove me wrong. Canes :pimp:

And the Army is forming :pimp:

You’ll be proved wrong easily. The most flavor in that pictures comes from the sauce

Facts. That chicken aint got an ounce of seasoning.
Disappointing too, because I feel the source of their chicken is good. :ohwell:

PO

Do yall not dip your Popeyes in da sweat heat!

The freshness a d juice juiceness (pause) is the catch.

And the chicken to breading ratio is beyond comparable.

I finally got to try Cane's back in September after reading about it here for so long.

It didn't live up to the hype. Zaxby's does what they do but better and with more options.

I don’t need sauce to eat Popeyes. The spicy has enough flavor and crunch for it to stand on its own. It’s a chore to eat that Canes chicken without that sauce. They literally don’t even salt the chicken.

Are there no salt packets?

Do you not own salt?

thapointguy thapointguy surprisingly they were still warm, chocolate melted inside. I did a pickup for 5:30pm and there was about 6 heads waiting for their orders too, so I waited an extra 10 mins and probably had it at least 20-25 mins off the fryer. Wifey and I were impressed for what it was, we definitely didn’t go in expecting Cafe Du Monde LOL!

Taking bites back and forth between the spicy chicken sandwich and the beignets was a problem though...*chefskiss

I give the beignets a 6 without the chocolate a 5. They were little crispy on the outside, the authentic ones are more on doughy side? Chocolate and powdered sugar didn't make them overly sweet (good thing). They're the size of a mini snickers bar. They're good to end the meal with something sweet but I'd try their fried pie instead.

They made the spicy sauce in their chicken sandwich spicier, they were mild before.

If it’s crispy and hard, then no it’s not like the real ones.

So they sell them without the filling?

PS - They’re other beignets that are better than cafe de monde.
