Working at Footlocker and hooking your friends up

$500 is monthly right? Or per transaction? Weekly?
Usually, monthy.

Rule #1, don't tell anyone about your discount

I remember some dude was telling me a girl he knew worked at ntny and she ain't tell nobody. It wasn't until he walked into niketown and saw her working there. Same thing happened to me, some girl at my college(ain't know her that well, but still) worked at nike. Had no clue til I saw her there like a year later after I had class with her.

Exactly. I worked there for years, I mentioned it once to my family. Luckily I didn't see them often and they didn't ask for much. Outside of that, I wasn't broadcasting anything.

:lol it's like they're working for the secret service or something. From what I've noticed the dudes who blab about working there don't end up working there for long.

Because those are the lazy workers. Those are the ones that come there to work for sneakers. I refuse to do so. I quickly came to that realization when I first started working there. Whenever someone new came in, I'd always tell them, buy what you like, yeah, but don't spend your whole check on kicks and clothes from here. What's the point? Working to give your money right back is lame.

I wouldn't say it's like working for the secret service

. When asked, I'd say where I worked, then pause knowing that depending on who I talk to would ask for a hookup. Sometimes, I'd lie about stuff not being there or just say no. It's a **** move I know, but my sanity is worth it.

i don't work there but came upon that same realization. Cats be asking employees left and right for discounts. If you don't ask for one then you probably have a greater chance of getting that hookup at some point

I charge for whoever want to use my discount unless you're family , dudes be quick to want to ask for your discount , I don't really care for the job , it gets old , dudes that brag about working for footlocker is LAME to me , I don't even like going out to grocery stores with my uniform , I don't want anyone asking me anything about sneakers :lol

My ex had me laced up on swoosh for years... Then she stop giving me the discount, and the yambs. I miss both daily.

Lol dont listen to this guy. it is monitored but not to that extent. So limit yourself to maybe 5-10 discount per month. And dont hook people up, use it as a money making machine. Also go ham on your sales try to rack in enough sales to be leading in sales in your district that way you know you ranking in the big commission bucks

Yes they do. I've seen one person get fired for going over the limit, and another received a warning because he went over the limit by like 20 bucks. :{
