Wrestling Thread April 18-26/ RIP Chyna passed away at 45

Only word so far is that it's believed to be a possible drug overdose. Nothing illegal was found at the scene but lots of prescription medicine

Don't treat me like a woman
Don't treat me like a man
Don't treat me like you know me
Treat me for just who I am.

Just now hearing the Chyna news..Can't believe yet another Attitude Era wrestler has passed away..Seems like every other month another one is biting the dust..:{

RIP Chyna..She really is a HOF caliber performer/entertainer..

Another one gone too soon.

She had her demons and couldn't outrun them.

It's getting harder and harder to watch wrestling from 80s and 90s when you realize how many of them are no longer with us. Gotta believe had they not sacrificed for our entertainment they wouldn't have entered an early grave.

I'm not going to bash anyone for what happened in the past. The reason I say this is because honestly I can see from both sides what caused conflict. This is what happens in life when drama manifest over time. I wish they would have hashed things out though.

I also wish Chyna found her help sooner.

Its very sad that we lost someone so young.

Damn RIP Chyna smh

If she had a problem if it was known, doesn't wwe have a rehabilitation program from former wrestlers?

I think I read they did that for Scott hall a few years ago when he was doing bad

She's been in really bad shape according to all these reports and it looks like her demons caught up to her such a damn shame.

The plot thickens....

Make it into a conspiracy story like with the Kennedys and Marilyn Monroe.

Did the McMahons have her killed? Stay tuned!

In all seriousness though it's a sad situation. It's getting some mainstream coverage too. My dad who only watches Golf Channel or Fox News said something to me about it this morning asking if a cause of death is known.

did the wwe cut all ties with her, if so, really messed up. should've put her in the HOF and slowly bring her back to the family.
reading reactions from all her peers, it really seems like she was a nice person

Why do so many wrestlers die so young?

I'd hazard a guess it has to do with once you aren't in the limelight anymore and time has passed you by, the pain and depression and demons catch up to you.

I think it was Jericho who said a doctor told him taking bumps was like being involved in small car accidents. That will take a toll on you eventually. Add that to being away from family and friends for long periods of time for years on end. Then once your no longer in the big leagues in front of 10,000+ fans every week and have to make a living on small spot shows with less than 1,000 in attendance. That can't be an easy life to live.

Kinda crazy seeing her death scroll on the bottom of ESPN when she hasn't been acknowledged by the WWE in a loooooong time before then

Wrestling more than 220 days a year takes a toll on you mentally and physically. Not to mention the gym work they have to do to maintain their bodies and pills they take.

It's a high risk high reward lifestyle.

Ive always wondered if working for WWE gives you a free subscription to WWEnetwork.

Like I would assume RKO wouldnt have to pay. But some one like Zach Ryder? Do they need his cc/paypal info?
