First Born ratted DSK out and got him banned.

I agree with the post that said there are too many WWE stans in here that won't admit TNA had the better show. I watched both and the TNA production wassuperior to what Vince had thrown out there. TNA was very entertaining. When was the last time you said that about a WWE product not SmackDown!?

The Omega One is at it again.
Regarding Shawn Michaels' outlook on real-life rival Bret Hart returning to World Wrestling Entertainment, he is said to be happy that the "Hitman" is coming back and is more than willing to bury whatever hatchet there is between them.

On the flip side, Triple H has been telling people he doesn't want Hart back in WWE and that he hopes his return to the company fails. Considering that his wife, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque, is head of creative in the company, it would appear that Vince McMahon may have to overrule his daughter and son-in-law if his storyline with Hart is to be a success. Providing things go well, a Hart vs. McMahon blow-off will be taking place at WrestleMania.

ok am i messing something. bret hart came back??? now i though he died in a cage match from a fall??? or was that someone else?

Well, Jeff Hardy's 3rd wellness policy strike explains him coming to TNA. What a !#%$-up.

Major Former WWE & TNA Star Possibly Returning At The Royal Rumble
The latest issue of the Pro Wrestling Torch speculates that Booker T could return to World Wrestling Entertainment as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.
The multi-time champion has had discussions with WWE officials in recent weeks regarding a possible return to the company.

JR Bblogs:
Edge At WrestleMania?

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. Here's what JR said about the health of Edge and whether he'll be ready to return in time for WrestleMania:

Edge's WWE return: Received a nice text from Edge during the holidays from his mountain retreat in the Carolinas and it is my understanding that Edge is still questionable as it relates to him being physically ready to compete at WM26. I do understand that Edge is healing well from Achilles tendon surgery but it has always been a photo finish as to whether or not Edge will be able to wrestle at the end of March. I hope so and would hope that it would be Edge vs. Jericho. I'm certainly not counting Edge out of WM26 but Mother Nature has more to say about this matter than any one else. Edge returning prematurely and not being 100% would make no sense."

Steve Austin & The Rock Hosting RAW?

Regarding Johnson, Ross said he was under the impression that The Rock was going to guest-host an episode of Raw in January, but scheduling conflicts "eliminated that opportunity." Johnson's new "Toothfairy" movie comes out this month, which would have been the promotional tie-in for Johnson to guest-host. Commercials for Johnson's "Tooth Fairy" movie have been seen during all WWE shows over the past two weeks. Johnson said two months ago that he was working on a TV project with WWE beyond just guest hosting RAW for 1 week. Johnson has yet to provide an update on the status of the project.

As for Steve Austin, JR also said he "assumes" Steve Austin will guest host RAW, possibly in March to help promote Austin's new straight-to-DVD film "Damage" (and of course, WrestleMania).

Details On Ric Flair's TNA Wrestling Deal
Ric Flair apparently signed a deal with TNA wrestling just days before the big Monday show on January 4th. Apparently, his deal with TNA is just for 65 appearances over a one year period. The belief is that he will be working on a guaranteed money deal and would still be able to book his own outside appearances whether it be public appeareances or business deals. Reports that suggested that Flair's deal was through Panda Energy rather than TNA are not confirmed at this time.

WWE Management Not Happy With RAW Rating
WWE officials are unhappy with this week's Raw rating. Though TNA provided competition, they felt Bret Hart's return to the company would have garnered at least a 4.0. The show finished with a 3.6 cable rating, the same number as last week. The show drew hours of 3.51 and 3.73 with the first hour scoring 5,441,000 viewers and hour two pulling in 5,773,000. Raw averaged 5,600,000 for the broadcast.

Speaking of films, a number of WWE stars will have cameos as henchmen in the upcoming MacGruber film based on the SNL parody of McGyver.
Mark Henry, Kane, MVP, Chris Jericho, The Great Khali and Big Show appear in the film. Jericho is the only WWE star to have a speaking role in the film, while Big Show makes out with another man, according to a source who's seen a rough edit of the film.
The film will be officially released on 4/16.

Possible RR spoiler:

Spoiler [+]
It's likely that John Cena vs. Sheamus will be a match at the Royal Rumble as reported yesterday.

It is also tentatively planned for Shawn Michaels and Triple H to be the last two participants in the Rumble match. It would certainly be an interesting twist but hasn't been confirmed yet.

Michaels' has of course challenged The Undertaker to a WrestleMania re-match, while there was also previous talk of a Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H match at the pay-per-view.

Former WWE performer Dwayne Johnson was asked to guest host next week's episode of Monday Night Raw, but he will be in Mexico this coming Sunday and Mondaypromoting the much anticipated release of Tooth Fairy, which comes out the following week. For the first time in a few years, the former WWE Champion is beingbilled as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson rather than simply Dwayne Johnson. He claims he's not going back to the name, but because there is a line inthe promotional trailers saying, "Get ready to get rocked," 20th Century Fox is using "The Rock" name as a play on words. He said itdoesn't matter - to him - whether "The Rock" name is used or not.Johnson will be appearing on a number television shows and networks over thenext few weeks including The Jay Leno Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Show with David Letterman, Live with Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, Today, ESPN,BET and the NFL Network. He will also be appearing on the cover of an upcoming issue of Muscle & Fitness

-- WWE Women's Champion Michelle McCool has not been wrestling much as of late due to a lingering knee injury.
-- The percentage of viewers who watched Monday Night Rawvia DVR was 5.0% for the 12/14 show and 5.8% for the 12/7 show.
