when i was a kid, it always disturbed me how 'macho man' randy savage would verbally abuse elizabeth & often threaten physical abuse

i understood the fine line between face & heel savage wanted to portray, but that element still never sat well with me

years into it, the wwf kind of blurred the abuse angle in with savage being a triumphant face with a beautiful loving wife by his side

and even years later, savage has become an icon of wrestling, deserving so in part due to his pace & athletic talent

but his character could never be a favorite of mine

-The official WWE website announced Friday that a tournament featuring NXT talent will be held next Thursday at WrestleMania Axxess, with the winner earning the right to compete in the second annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

Tournament participants will include Adrian Neville, Finn Bálor, Hideo Itami and Tyler Breeze.

Winner will be Neville, Balor, or Zayn in that order. They should give the rub to a nxt guy just coming up but it makes too much sense for wwe and Vince's old brain.

It was stated in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this line was scripted to push a match between both wrestlers as a possibility for next year’s WrestleMania.

Would be sick if Bork kept the belt all the way through mania 32 for the rock to challenge and LOSE Bork having a reign like that is what's best for business.
