-Did you really just use the "injury prone" excuse when it comes to pro wrestling?
-I will start with buried talent in WWE..Can anyone on here tell me what exactly the value of ANY wwe belt is these days?..We just got told last night that stupid Cena will basically have the title for a year so he can defend against Rock..So what message does that send to wwe's fans about the value of their "most prestigeous belt"..
-When was the last time the wwe produce someone who is a "game changer"?..Cause their ratings are in the crapper so obviously they don't have a game changer of their own or they'd be doing a hell of alot better than they are..
So why is wwe better?..Cause people don't know any better thats why..

No I got that belt as my avy cause that's the belt I wanted..And I wanted it because it says ECW on it..Look Im not saying TNA is better than wwe or vice versa..What Im saying is how can people slam one product when the one they say is so much better does the same things..There are good and bad about both companies..But I guess people are more invested in wwe cause its been around for so long and TNA is much newer..I guess at the end of the day I'll still watch both, but when Cena/Orton/Miz comes on my screen I will be turning the channel..

I agree 1000000% with that statement..I only watched TNA once in a blue moon until I recently got back into wrestling..At the Lockdown PPV i got a grab bag with some older dvd's in it, and I gotta say the product now compared to even 2 years ago (which is how old the newest vid i got was) is night and day..And you are right about Joe..Dude is a beast in the ring and has really good skills on the mic, but yet he's nowhere near the HWC picture..Makes no damn sense to me..Originally Posted by AirThompson

Haha I see what your sayin. But imo TNA was better before Bischoff & Hogan came. Theyre killing the product thus making a low energy WWE look better. If TNA stuck to their guns with their original product they'd be crapping on WWE right now. How did they mess up Samaoa Joe? He should be Cena, Orton caliber right now. He definately wrestles better then them both.

Raw on 5/2 did a 3.43 rating and 5.19 million viewers. The show did a 3.10 in Males 18-49 and a 70% male skew, once again higher than usual when Rock is on the show. The major competition saw Dancing With the Stars at a 13.34 rating and 21.40 million viewers, and a Chicago Bulls vs. Atlanta Hawks NBA playoff game which did a 3.96 rating and 5.59 million viewers. Raw was the third most watched show on cable for the night, behind the Bulls-Hawks game that went head-to-head and the late-night Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers game (4.65 rating).
In the segment-by-segment, The Rock interview segment gained 903,000 viewers in the second quarter to a 4.10 quarter. That was the highest rated second quarter in years and biggest growth in that quarter in recent memory. But from there, things fell. R-Truth attacking John Morrison and Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly lost 1,111,000 viewers, among the biggest drops in recent memory. Backstage interviews with The Miz and Alex Riley, Pau Walker, Samuel Jackson, and Rock backstage doing a party gained 75,000 viewers. John Cena vs. The Miz for the title was a flop, gaining only 32,000 viewers and finishing at a 3.43 quarter. Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger lost 421,000 viewers. Rock backstage with the angle with Vickie Guerrero and Mae Young, plus Mason Ryan vs. Kane gained 44,000 viewers. The Rock doing his promo with Vince McMahon coming out lost 62,000 viewers to a 3.14 overrun. Mya singing the Happy Birthday to end the show gained 127,000 viewers to a 3.23.
There is something very telling about those numbers. I think what is says is no one personality, no matter how great, can be the focal point of a two hour show and in so many segments without them losing drawing power at some point. On the exact same show, within two hours, Rock did the greatest second quarter and second quarter growth in recent memory, and then had one of the worst overrun segments. But by that time he had been on countless times.
Tough Enough on 5/2 did another 1.72 rating and 2.44 million viewers, so the numbers are now holding steady at that range. It’s a full point below the NCIS reruns that were in the time slot, and below the prime time average on USA, but at least it’s not continuing to drop. The Tough Enough replay after Raw did a 0.92 rating and 1.39 million viewers.

--Without giving away the spoiler, there is a ton of negative feedback directed to WWE on the decision, to the point it has shocked those in the company the vehemence of it.
