Submitted by THQAubrey on Aug 14, 2012 3:08PM PDT in News

Find out which of your favorite WWE Superstars, Divas, Legends and "Attitude Era" luminaries will be featured in WWE '13!

We've seen all your Tweets, Facebook posts, forum threads, skywriting, carrier pigeons, smoke signals and rented blimps, and we know exactly what you want: WWE '13 roster information. Well, thankfully, you won’t have to wait much longer, as the largest roster in WWE Games history will be revealed this Saturday, August 18 at WWE SummerSlam Axxess. Even if you can’t join us for all the fun in Los Angeles, you can still watch everything go down live via streams at both IGN.com and WWE.com.

The action kicks off at 1:30 p.m. PDT in the NOKIA Plaza at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles with the WWE ’13 Roster Reveal Pre-Show, presented by IGN. The event will feature IGN’s own Richard George, as well as two members of the WWE Games development team: Creative Director Cory Ledesma and Senior Game Designer Bryan Williams. Together, they’ll go over all the news and announcements to date on the October 30 release and will even give fans a sneak peek at some of SummerSlam’s biggest match-ups, as seen through the lens of WWE ’13.

Then, at 2:00 p.m. PDT, it’s the main event you’ve all been waiting for: The WWE ’13 Live Roster Reveal, presented by IGN. Whether you’re at the Main Event Stage at SummerSlam Axxess or streaming the event live from home, you’ll watch WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler, WWE ’13 cover Superstar CM Punk and WWE ring announcer Lillian Garcia as they reveal the largest roster in WWE Games history (talent appearances subject to change). Your hosts – as well as some special guests – will give round-by-round commentary and analysis on all of your favorite WWE Superstars, Divas, Legends and “Attitude Era” luminaries.

So, whether you’re planning on joining us in Los Angeles or would prefer to watch along from home, make sure you tune in at 1:30 p.m. PDT this Saturday, August 18. For all the latest updates and details from SummerSlam weekend, make sure to follow @WWEGames on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

I must be in the minority because I am looking forward to Summerfest. The card is really solid with all the matches having wrestlers that can go the distance. There isn't one match (maybe U,S title) that I can say is gonna be horrible based on the people in it.

I've been telling people that an angry black stable would be perfect right now.  AW as the mouthpiece, Mark Henry as the veteran muscle, PTP, JTG, etc.  They could play off of real life grievances.

Of course they would get buried but it'd be cool to watch for a little while.
Why do they have to be angry and black though? Why not just have a bunch of disgruntled employees of all shapes/colors with the same ideals?

Even if it was done "the right way", there's too many ignorant wrestling fans that would turn the storyline into something else. The angry black heel stable would become a present day PR nightmare for WWE.

If this is the case then I can't really say I respect the locker room. I wish someone had pulled some ****, but these guys have been beaten down and walking on eggshells for so long that it was probably never going to happen. I would rather start another career than working in a **** environment no matter how long I've wanted to wrestle. The guys got new checks from the Brazil tour and WM weekend.. but still. That doesn't right the wrongs done to the mid carders. WHERE'S OTUNGA WHEN YOU NEED HIM?

Also, they really should made made one of these

Isn't it funny how much s*** has changed in one year?

The recent backstage meeting had me thinking of CM Punk and the rocket push he's had in that period of time. Punk went from being stuck in mid-card hell w/ Vince not thinking of him as a top guy to now being their most important full-time wrestler not named John Cena. If that meeting takes place in the first half of last year, he would've been the only one to speak up and air out grievances while having no fear of being punished since had had one foot out the door.

He jobbed to Randy Orton on two straight PPV's last year...now he's in a position where he can go to Vince and ask him to GET RID of Orton and NOT get any heat whatsoever for it. Of course it helps that Cena & Punk are cool and they were in on it together but my point still stands.

To me, it all goes back to how much of a threat you're viewed as and if you're willing to stand up for what you think is right. It doesn't mean you have to be a complete douchebag and piss everyone off but these dudes gotta have some type of backbone if they want to be taken serious. Over time, Punk was recognized as a threat and he stood up for himself. Dolph Ziggler had a talk with HHH and Johnny Ace and let them know they could depend on him to be a top heel. They had him job for a few months to test him out and see how he'd react...now he's next in line to be in the main event and they're (finally) taking him seriously. Swagberto del Rio isn't at Punk/Cena level but he's viewed as a threat. Dude went straight to Vince recently to air out his problems...so what happens next? He's placed back in a main event feud on Smackdown.

I think the ADR/WWE relationship will eventually end ugly but that's for another post...

At the end of the day...no one wants to be John Morrison. Even with all his potential, nobody respected his b**** a** for all the sucker s*** and it'll be the same once he returns.

LOL @ the Union reference. I liked that group too but they were never given a real chance.

4w, I think that list of "untouchable" guys is even shorter than that. It's really Cena & Punk...then everyone else. Randy isn't viewed as a guy the company can depend on anymore and Sheamus has HHH's backing but he's not bringing in the type of money the top 2 guys are so I wouldn't put him at their level yet.

Pretty much agree with both of those. And really, the closest disgruntled employees type thing happened on Raw 1000 when they were all Tombstoned and Chokeslammed to death :lol

Linda McMahon beat US Rep Christopher Shays in the primary.  If she won the general election, she would be the first Republican Senator from Connecticut in 3 decades (per AP.)
She's not winning the general election especially in a blue state like CT.

Yo i'd smash Linda IDC IDC IDC ... I'll get her in that 1991 survivor series tombstone position

Quality post.

It all goes back to what I said earlier. These guys are being beating down and no one is trying to stop it. Of course Cena and Punk COULD stand up and change that but for whatever reason, they're riding high and cashing checks. The mid level guys have got to realize things aren't going to change for them unless they want it. I'm not saying whine and complain but don't be John Morrison. Prime, PRIME example of someone who should of said and did more behind the scenes but didn't.

Vince and company know whats going on with the boys. You have messengers in WWE the same as normal work places. They knew guys were wrecking Melina and Morrison didn't respond the way he needed to. He committed a major sin in pro wrestling anyway by hooking up with a coworker. You NEVER hook up with a fellow wrestler. Wasn't it Undertaker or some other older guy who would talk about keeping family away from the business?

If everyone is really afraid of being fired, then we're screwed just like they are.

I just don't get it. You'll either be let go because creative has nothing for you or go down trying to make a change. I legitimately see why Triple H said guys have to go out do it for themselves.

it seems Vince is grooming Ryback to possibly compete with Cena for the #1 face in the company

I never thought I'd say this but Ryback has grown on me incredibly

Outside of Otunga who is a certified lawyer and Kane who's made appearances speaking on politics and Y2J with Fozzy, who else in the locker room could legit walk away from WWE and be set with a legit fall back option. Seems like they stay cuz they have no fall back or at least not one i've seen or heard. They prolly stay to save enough so when they do walk away they are ok. Hopefully none of them become the legit real life Randy the Ram...
