Nah, he's just into multiplayer.
I'm the same way, I never play campaign. How much fun can it really be to kill the same reskinned AI enemy 900 times.

the 7 hour liner campaign was NOT ground breaking
it was good at best.
What was ground breaking about cod 4 was the multiplayer.

Yeah campaigns basically play themselves :x
its super easy gamer score but this year is the first year i didnt even have the stomach to finish the campaign. Just went straight to multiplayer.
Played all the other snooze fest campaigns.

BF1 looks amazing. Definitely liking the setting/period
Probably will be my first BF day one purchase, although the poor EA server rollout will be a concern
I just hope that the gunplay is clean, and not janky.
Because of the large player-count, I feel like the majority of kills come from randoms getting a final shot on a distracted player, rather than good quality gunplay

I enjoyed the MW1-3 campaigns. Not saying the gameplay can be super dry, but I put more weight on the story when it comes to FPS campaigns.
