I started the new dragonball game this weekend. It’s cool so far but I haven’t played MP yet.

Saw the MVC Infinite on sale for like $16 so I ordered that. I have very low expectations for it but I can’t say no to the price.

My friends have been playing the pirate game beta. Might want to scavenge the island and pillage loot with them if they buy the real game.

Play Halo 5 a lot more since it's a lot more pick up and play friendly. A lot more high and lows when playing Halo 1-3 on MCC, especially Halo:CE.

Cool I'll add you guys... I've only played H5 with memphissfinest and I was hit or miss but Halo for me if I don't play it for a few months/weeks I kind of lose my shot and need to get it back.

Word ranked matchmaking is all out of wack. I'm only like an 8 or 9 right now consistently matching with 40+. Not sure if it's because there's not enough people playing or if the system is just bad.

In H5 I can't seem to get out of Gold tier . I mainly play solo and more often than not I'll get stuck with garbage teammates. I need to get on that fireteam life .

I think with H2 and MCC the population is not big so they just match you with whoever, but I'm not sure. I hate running solo and matched with a team using mics it's a almost guaranteed loss.

Yeah I know what you mean about the tier system in H5 I got up to Diamond 2 like 2-3 weeks ago and fell all the way back down to like Platinum 2-3 because of random team mates. I was wrecking too, but when you start getting into the higher tiers communication is a must. Call outs, clean ups, etc... when I'm playing with randoms that have no mics I just try to stay by them to help them or clean up kills because I'll send them even a message saying stay with your team or don't try to take on 4 players by yourself because you'll get team shot but they never listen.

Another tip is look at when their names change to yellow or different color it means they are shooting at something or in combat so head towards them to help them.

Think I was Diamond in the beta. Always place at Gold during these Halo seasons.

About to try fortnite out for the first time now, but trying to keep my eyes peeled because black cement 3 is releasing periodically now and don't want to miss out on early release so no headaches on release day.

Lol there's not an argument or a rant to be had. I can get online and search and either I'm. Gonna play a party of four while I'm searching alone or the ranks within the match will be all over the 1-50 spectrum instead of max within ten of the highest ranked person in the lobby.

I'll have to say there's a stronger reasoning to why the XB1 allows Xbox Live gold sharing. There isn't much of a difference between playing against booster accounts or guests unless the actual gamer behind the controller just doesn't know how to play the game.

There are no party restrictions nor are there level restrictions. A party of four 50s can play a random team of four, that's nonsense.

I can search alone and get all level ones on my team and get matched up against a full party (which happens all the time to me).

None of these things are conducive to having a good ranking system and didn't exist in any Bungie Halo but exists in every 343 Halo. The entire game is essentially social.

Them doing it three straight times has pretty much proven the point that it's intended to devalue the purpose of ranks imo. It's 100% intentional and Frankie has held that opinion since bungle that we shouldn't even have ranks.

I have my suspicions to why the Halo IP is slowly dying, but nothing set in stone. Ultimately wouldn't you want more players available for matchmaking searches given how much of a "disappointment" the Xbox One has been on all fronts this gen?

If they had working ranks I'd undoubtedly be playing more even with the technical issues. Winning and losing is of no consequence in a game that used to revolve around that.

Nope. In their eyes it's not broken. They've made three Halo games with this nonsense.

I doubt the MCC playerbase is even large enough for ranked matchmaking to work. It'd take too long to find a match. I agree it does suck though.

I see they just released a "quick play" in the social part for Halo 5.

The high level Onyx and Champion dudes were complaining that it was taking like 20 minutes to find matches because they were ranked so high and not that many other people are ranked that high so the game took a long time to find matches.

They left the other playlists alone, but added that "quick play" playlist to quell the noise from the high ranked players.

WWII is dope.

I'd recommend getting the X if you have a 4k tv tho. Graphics are clean.

The S can play 4k content (ie. via disc/ other media) but it cant render games in 4k.

It also runs at 60 fps on the X.

Wouldn't even care. I'd gladly search for 20 minutes to be guaranteed a good game than search for two minutes and get the garbage games I'm usually dropped into.
