it being very contest like killed it. Ijapino's stuff was great as was anyone and everyone else who posted a pic. But due to the nature of how things aremany read this thread and feel like what they have isnt good enough or that someone with a few stacks is a better "sneakerhead" than them. If youhave money you can be the "best" sneaker god out there. You can be featured in some culture vulture shoe mag like sole collector or be the king of asneaker contest. Really there isnt much to it. But knowing your history, seeing what has transpired over the last 30 years and appreciating it for what it isare sadly lost. If a guy has 500 pairs of shoes and deep pockets and a computer to bid and buy but no true appreciation or knowledge of shoes beyond what isdirected and deemed worthy of a smoking smiley face on these boards is he/she a better "sneakerhead" than someone with 3 pairs of shoes and a mindthats like a nike catalog for the past 30 years?
