How does see you not get mentioned with thugga best songs?
Young Thug is familiar and alien, everything and nothing at the same time. He emerged from one of the roughest parts of Atlanta with a fully formed sound that’s unlike anything else in the rap game today, paired with a persona that’s equally unusual. Thug has embraced the world of high-fashion and it loves him right back.
A genre and gender-bender, Young Thug refuses to follow rules or bow to labels. With his music and style, he encourages fans to embrace their slimy side and let the inner weirdness out.
Q:
What did you do before you were a rapper?
Y:
I was on the street.
Q:
Did you always know you wanted to rap?
Y:
I was never shy because I've always been in the street. I've always been popular. Before I was rapping I was always popular in Atlanta, you know what I'm saying? I suppose that I always felt like I was a rapper even before I made it, but when I first got $50,000, $100,000, that's when I was like, "Yeah, I'm a rapper."
Q:
What did you do when you got that money?
Y:
I bought everything I wanted. I bought mum a house, my sisters, brothers, everybody cars. That was like the first thing I was doing because I never cared about places. That was kind of meaningless. You know what I'm saying?
I guess that was my goal to take care about everybody around. I was doing all of that before I was rapping. I was already taking care of the family by myself, buying everybody's school s--t, all that.
Q:
Your family is really important to you, right?
Y:
You know I care about money as much anybody. I care about the money, but the only thing I care about more than the money is my family and how they feel.
I always had a tight family. I have four brothers and eight sisters. I always had man of the house roles, like the dad role, since I was 12, 13 years old because I was always out to get my own money, no matter where it came from. Helping my mum to pay the bills and all that s--t.
Q:
What have your mom and eight sisters taught you about women?
Y:
It takes a lot more for a girl to like something, especially with music, and music is for girls. You know you made it when girls listen to you.
Q:
Who’s style do you admire?
Y:
Prince. Michael Jackson. I want to bring back that culture.
Q:
What culture?
Y:
I want the US to be like Europe. In Europe, everybody is cool and cultured. You can have on a dress and you are a man.
Q:
Do you think people in the United States should be more open-minded?
Y:
Even the open-minded people, they are still simple-minded because they still have a level. I don't have a level. There ain't no telling what I'm going to do. Like James Brown, I don't have a level. I'll do anything. I might wear a dress, I might wear nothing. I might wear baggy clothes. I might not go to my shows. I don't know.
Q:
Your first mixtape was called I Came From Nothing. Where do you see yourself ending up?
Y:
At the gates. I want like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson fame. I want Bill Gates' money. I want god power. I just want the highest, so that's what I mostly pay attention to.
Q:
What got you interested in ‘slime?’ Did you watch Nickelodeon as a kid?
Y:
No. I never watched TV. I've seen a lot of people in the rap game, they came in a lot of angles. Nobody never came in as like a slimy angle. Slime is like if you are my best friend, we are best friends, but I steal your money. That's sliming. Of course we don't do that type of s--t in real life, but I feel like it was a way to come into the game. Plus, I'm a slimy motherf---er.
Q:
What does the word ‘sexy’ mean to you?
Y:
It's like clean. Classic is what sexy is to me.
Slime **** and drippin ain't going nowhere from my playlist. Them joints so fire.

Only cause the act in an of itself would legit take an hour.
I know my dude larry david can't rock With RHQ like that but I barely even notice dudes contributions on RG1.
I can't knock anyone labeling it Thug's best body of work it's for sure up there.
