lol. u remember that thread about that one dude who was goin over to this girl house for the weekend, & he didnt kno if the girl wanted him tosmash, & he kept all of nt goin on with the lie for about a week. Then he dudes found out who the girl was & kept messaging her on myspace, &completely ruined his game.

oh yea i forgot that was when "your cousin" apparently "hacked" your account

Man, when I started lurking for Jordan release date info back in 01 it was pretty crazy. It made me kind of get into the culture, though def not as extreme asmost of the guys/girls who are or were. But since I was jsut lurking from time to time I never paid attention much.

I used to be in the JB Forum heavy. Randomly wandered in the Music Forum and the "Dirtylicious song" thread was poppin.

I've been around awhile, since 5/21/01.
The only thing I remember is the EKIN 702 used to break the news.
 
I joined in June of 2004 and that was when stones faces were big, everyone was using walls and walls of stone faces. Everyone was looking to find the bestpics of real world stone faces. The US men's team was a massive disappointment and people PSed stone faces on TIm Duncan and AI on the bench. The crappyReabok uniforms on our players "looked liked they were lined with spermicide." I think it was in mid summer when KD Wallace made that Jumpman withthe sone face patterns. I remember one NTer, from Serbia, was big in the threads with Jordan photo shops. People were really excited over the release of the13's.

A few weeks and months later, in the fall I remember how everyone claimed that they had plantar faciaitis because Kobe had it early in the '04-'05season. People were really hyped over Kevin Garnett. He emerged from the winnowing were we went letter by letetr and picked the best player whose name beganwit ha given letter. I disagreed and said that Tim Duncan was the best players and that the Spurs would win it all because my Lakers have pretty muchdismantled themselves. The best part of the NAB season was when the fight happened and the S&T forum had a couple dozen threads that all got locked and Ibelieve there was an official Detroit-Indy Fight Thread.

Summer of 2004 was great summer for me personally and NT was a fun little distraction after the long days of surfing or playing basketball or lifting weights.I also remember how, as noob, I would join in on almost every discussion because at that point none of the subjects were subjects that get usuall yget talkedabout every couple of weeks and are now trite to me. I think by the end of the summer of 2004, I averaged about 10 posts per day.
 
I've been on NT for a minute now. I have so many memories here on NT and I'm sure most can relate.

One of them being Wicked Kickz and this girl Candice (I forgot her NT name) and the whole beef with Sais and @+$.

Twelve AM's post with his pictures. That's when the whole "I wanna take nice photos and change the colorbrightness and contrast" epidemic was going on.

The whole battle between Sole Supreme and this other dude. FYI, the other dude got smashedddd.

The funniest thing yet... The whole cuff or don't cuff your jeans, including I have better denim then you.

These were really the good old days. It's so funny how most of the OG NT'ers that everyone rides just started not to long ago. But the triple og'sare long gone.

Btw, I've had so many accounts on here I can't even remember. But my old name was QUiN KiCKS

Does anyone remember a thread here in general that was something like "post potential niketalk thread topics from olden times" or something of thatnature (anyone remember this or even have a link....*crosses fingers*). I was a long time reader, but just joined around that time. That thread had me DYING

When NT consisted of only 3 or 4 forums.
Also, remember someone making a photo album of NTlker's from back in the day. I think it may have been KVN, not sure.
