Seriously he's the GOAT.

Dude invented the word SLAM Dunk and other basketball playing calling words that other announcers still use today.

He called the Lakers games for a streak of over 5,000 games without ever missing a game.

If your under 30 or didn't grow up in LA or Socal then you probably never heard him call Laker games and don't understand how great he was.

I'm 28 grew up on the Lakers. I loved Chick. The brilliance of his broadcast was he was doing it as a simulcast using Radio and TV

I CAN'T STAND the Portland announcers. Dudes need to be gagged.

i guess im one of the few that listen to games on mute. With that said however, i do like the lakers announcers they try to be pretty unbias and also when Van Gundy calls game. Tirico on the other hand should be exiled like napoleon.
