I still don't understand how "he ain't MJ" automatically means he is or isn't in the top 5? I see the argument for Kobe being great, but why is he better than Kareem, Wilt, Bill or Big O? BTW I"m still putting him at 5 behind MJ, Bill, Kareem and a player of my choosing to be determined.
