I agree! We need to stretch, especially our knees! We get so little blood flow to our knees that it makes healing from an injury sooo hard. The inner meniscus gets the least blood flow in that area. Most doctors will say it gets none at all, but it is still living tissue, so needs to get some. I...

So just a little update in case anyone else is suffering this same kind of thing. He didn't get the wrap recommended, which was the 'ankle' as we weren't exactly sure, but he got the 'leg' wrap and that wrapped great around that area (just below the shin to the side). I think his was a little...

So my boyfriend just started getting this stabbing paid on the side of his shin but a lot lower down - more above the ankle. At first we thought shin splints...but now we are thinking it might be 'tibialis tendonitis'. Anyone experience this? any advice to pass on? I recommend the bfst treatment...

Haven't went through this thread, but am thinking about going to see Apocalypse this weekend, but just not sure. I'm a huge fan of all the x-men movies up till now, but this to me seems too out of place.  Opinions? Worth the $?

This is heartbreaking but there was nothing else that could have been done on the zoos part. I hate seeing all the media write ups about how the zoo could have handled this better. I guarantee people agreeing and signing those petitions don't have children and know absolutely nothing about zoo...

Eeeeee. I wouldn't recommend using a night splint. I wouldn't recommend using anything that stretches the fascia. I didn't do a single stretch on my foot and I healed it completely in a month and a half. I did the 2 main treatments I've mentioned above....with NO stretching....and it hasn't come...

I just can't believe how much doctors push cortisone shots. I sometimes think they will do anything to ensure surgery. Big bucks there.

Be careful with getting a lot of cortisone shots. Not only do they mask the pain and let you believe you're fine enough to put a lot of strain on it (which usually it's not), but it can also eventually lead to rupturing the fascia. Here's some interesting info...
