They started w/ Saine on the wing against lsu.
I think I like Saine more than any of the other backs on the roster.

Does anyone else have problems going directly to page 13 in this thread? When I'm in the S&T main forum I only see 9 pages of posts, but there are13...
Florida WR/RB Harvin will miss the rest of spring practice, may need surgery
Associated Press

Updated: March 31, 2008, 8:43 PM ET

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida wide receiver Percy Harvin will miss the rest of spring practice and might need surgery to repair a heel injury.

ncf_g_harvin_65.jpg

Harvin

Coach Urban Meyer said Monday that team doctors were consulting with specialists to determine how to treat Harvin's nagging right heel.

"It's unique," Meyer said. "Not many guys have ever had this, and the MRI showed that it's a significant injury."

Even if Harvin does have surgery, Meyer said he will be back at full speed before fall practice in August.

"Everything I've been told, there's no chance of any issue in the fall," Meyer said. "They just want to fix it."

Harvin first felt heel soreness in high school, and it really started bothering him last summer. It was initially treated as tendinitis, but doctors now believe it is a bone-related injury.

Harvin also has dealt with pain in his knee and hip, something Meyer said was a result of the speedy junior trying to compensate for the heel injury.

Harvin ran for 764 yards and six touchdowns last season and caught 59 passes for 858 yards and four scores.

He hasn't played every game in either of his two seasons, missing time because of an ankle injury in 2006 and sitting out two games last year because of migraine headaches. He's also missed practice because of heel, knee and hip soreness.

As if it wasn't a foregone conclusion before.....That boy Percy is GHOST after this season....Too many injuries while in college....

hmmm homeboy looks like hes eaten a small town.

Actually, the kid is thick but is not fat by any means. Got fat when he got to Michigan but with Mike Barwis and rehabbing a torn ACL, this kid is seriousabout getting into shape. Writers from The Wolverine said it looked like he was getting ready for a Mens Fitness cover shoot.

Iplayed Bass when we both were seniors, dude hit us with a 97 yard QB sneek. Its really too bad that he got injured i was hoping he would do big things atMichigan

Well, a certain member of the team told my buddy and I that Grady looks to be in great shape and is cut. I am gonna trust him.

I read that they have Grady practicing in the slot, which I thought was weird. I can see putting the other backs in the slot but Grady? Idk i guess its just tothrow the defense off and just cuz he's practicing there doesnt neccessarily mean they'll use him there.

Wake News.
Riley Skinner looked sharp in the first spring practice, completing throws on several tough routes. He is hoping to pick up where he left off in 2007, in which he led the nation in completion percentage.

Brandon Ghee had a solid day at the cornerback position. His instincts looked very sharp as he was able to close on several routes and either cause pass break-ups or intercept the ball.

Aaron Curry
looked fantastic today in practice. He seems to be at around 240 pounds, and he's been rumored to be running in the 4.5 range. He is definitely the leader of the linebacking unit, and perhaps the defense as a whole.A. Smith

Skylar Jones took many snaps under center during the first practice, but he was also used as a slot receiver and a second back coming out of the backfield during offensive team drills. Jones struggled with some of the tougher throws, such as outs and corners, but also showed some good arm strength at times. When he was lined up at the slot receiver position, he made several good catches including an acrobatic catch on a ball that was thrown behind him.
