see this is misleading...kante had a good game. kante is a great player.
but he was also partnered with w/ a double pivot and 5 defenders behind him including 3 CB's
it's easy to not get exposed when you have a wall behind you and your only responsibility is to be defensive


im not taking anything away from his defensive capabilities cause he's at the top of the food chain in that category
but put him in a situation like real madrid where he's left alone to patrol the middle of the field and kante wont be the same player
he wouldn't cut it tbh
