What's really interesting is that the +100 attempts Real and Barca each converted last season hardly skews the data. It's offset by what 3rd - 7th finishers did in each league last season.

Mid table and below La Liga clubs scored a lot more than their EPL counterparts last year. It's probably safe to presume that they converted at a higher rate and created more chances as well.
