I’m not sure that’s all that’s lead to it. We didn’t play a back 3 this often under Tata. So it’s not the same formation. And the base system is still the same both Tata and FDB had us playing a possession based style Tata was just more direct. And FDB has asked Josef to be more involved in build up play.

I think the main difference is our best players are fully fit and in form again and gotten used to how he wants us to play which has helped the team pick up the pace and have. More end product. Guys who just didn’t fit (parkhurst, Shea, Larownetowitz, Escobar) and we’re slowing down how efficient and quickly we could play with buildup aren’t playing as much now and guys that fit the system and roles better are (Pogba, Hydman, Meram, Gressel as a wingback) executing the plan more efficiently now.

Apparently people at Inter still want Icardi but yea Conte & Marotta have killed his value, they played that wrong, at least put him on the bench to show something.

As for us, Jovic brings the same thing Icardi does but is younger, drama free and has chance to learn something from Benzema.

Conte had nothing to do with Icardi, Icardi already burned his bridge with upper management prior to Conte's arrival, and even the owner wants him gone. Shoot, Icardi helped divide the locker room during the season. Perisic left Inter this season because of all the drama Icardi brought.

But imo, it's really it's mainly his wife's fault for causing all this drama, as she is his agent and she was the one making statements about how bad Inter's management and players were during last season.
