Imo these guys still write tabloid type ish to sell papers too. I don’t think believing plausible transfer rumors that might be coming from Florentino himself in order to unsettle Mbappe/PSG and start moving in is the same thing as believing the gossipy type stuff.

They do but they also infuse gossip with actual sources in high places which makes it so hard to decipher. It’s why the world looks at Chiringuito like “oh this can’t be a real”.

They do this in Italy and Portugal too but not even close to this extent.

Pederol was right about tic-tac this time. But he’s been wrong about tic-tac plenty of other times.

He also said he quit if Messi and Ramos left. Held a vote on whether or not he should quit. But still stayed anyways

It will be forever crazy how journalism AND entertainment are essentially one in Madrid.

Something Gab pointed, RM & Barca get lumped together but are two completely different financial situations, like 75% of our debt is for the stadium renovation which has a fixed payment on for less than 30 million a year. And we just haven't brought in a high volume of players.

Oh absolutely.

I don’t even know how Barça get out of this to be competitive again. It will take years to recover from this.

Old Barça would be lining up Harland right now.

Flo is a cold *** dude though man

Made a big fuss over coming out against the new La Liga financial regulations when Messi left and was showing solidarity with Laporta in everything from that to the ESL stuff while he was plotting something like this at the same time

It’s been funny seeing fake footy finance experts in every corner of the internet talking so confidently about Real being broke. When in reality we’ve being renovating a stadium that’ll make us more money and I’m pretty sure that ESPN deal is more lucrative than the bein one

Exactly man…

And Jape said Barça don’t deserve slander? Like what?

Bro my Catalan boy from post grad is going nuts right now. And he’s one of the most rational dudes I’ve ever met.

Not their first time but for Flo's sake I hope it works out better than the last time for them :lol

PSG don’t let this dude with an earring inside of his ear make your decisions.

Before you know it Gabriel Jesus will be bought. Then we’re all F***d

Flo definitely hasn’t been at his best in recent years. Taken a lot of Ls with the CR thing and wasting 200m on attempting to replace him.

Renovating the stadium during the pandemic was savvy though. And as far as this deal goes, I was convinced by people who said you can’t risk it not happening next summer if you could get it done this one. Look how much changed in just one summer with Ramos, Messi, and potentially CR7. Maybe Mbappe winds up liking playing alongside Messi and maybe the ship sinks at Real and he has a change of heart.

Also we have to consider that the price is only relatively high because the expiring deal thing. Otherwise it’s fair market value which means they’re likely to turn a profit on or at least break even you’d assume. Who knows how many times over Real made their Ronaldo fee. Getting Mbappe for this price 12 years later is fair. And although it’s not excellent business, in the long one I doubt it proves to be bad business either.

So where does he end up? Homecoming or abroad?

Sounded like Zidane wanted him in the past but he's not there anymore and they're about to drop a gargantuan bag

Sounds like P$G are after another forward from the Prem and not sure how much he'd want to play in Italy...

Who in the world are Everton planning on playing up top for them? Read that they're interested in Lingz but he'd only be a James replacement not their no.9

Maybe Rafa ends up linking up with Mitrovic again?

I like how the Ronaldo City news is making United fans trend #GlazersOut tho.

Even if it won’t work, I admire the passion.

People think I hate United, I like most of their fans. I like Liverpool and Arsenal fans too.

But I hate the Glazers and Kronke. I want them expelled from football.

It’s been trending coupe.. fans more mad at our mf then Ronnie

and to be fair I’m glad United aren’t signing cr7. This is exactly a move we would have been making in years past and eventually regretting it. Ronnie fixes none of our current issues… I’m good love. But yes **** the glazers and our board
