I know it was more of Levy decision but you think turning down 150 for Kane was a good move?

Was it ever confirmed that Citeh put in a bid of £150m? Horrible move if he turned that down. You take that and reinvest in the squad all day. If the highest Citeh went was £100m then they did the right thing. Keep him hope he fires you to a CL or EL spot and revisit next summer.

Imo from a marketing, recruitment, and potential CL qualifying perspective I can see why they didn’t accept that offer. It isn’t exactly easy for Spurs to replace that and to draw talent at that level. I don’t really see that as an offer they can’t refuse. Especially when you can still fetch big money for him if say a United misses out on Haaland.

maybe if there were 2 years left on his deal. But with 3 there’s no rush.
