Tbh I always thought Lucho would be nailed on as the likely successor to Pep at Citeh but I wouldn't be mad if United had a go for him. Still can't see him accepting a job before the WC, given how things went down for Lopetegui last time, and it would be iffy going midway into next season without a manager but probably wouldn't hurt down the line making contact with him during this hiring cycle.
