I understand the whole groupie aspect of Fandom when it comes to athletes but I was more so talking about actually spending money to hire a pro when as you said,there are countless of available women all over Europe willing to get with rich and famous footballers for less. I'll never get it,it can't be about hiding your tracks either because it seems like 70% of the time the story leaks to the tabloids anyway.

Jeter should be the blueprint to follow for these athletes man,dude took care of business in the most efficient ways possible and we've never seen a sign of trouble on his end

a  lot of escorts dont really care who the "trick" is as long as the money is right.

these guys are paying for discretion as well, groupies want to be associated with the "celebrity".

groupies today will use your fame to create some for themselves, we've seen countless of these situations in US sports

I think athletes like to hire pros because it's a business transaction (and I guess confidentiality comes with it). As opposed to some random girl that might do something as taking a picture of the athlete while they're in bed....try to get some money from them. But I do know that athletes give these girls a confidentiality form to sign. Especially if they player is married or in a relationship, can't just trust some random girl to keep her mouth shut. But that's just in terms of just hiring pro's. As for the underaged girls, idk....I know sex trafficking is a major issue

Like 90% of men who P4P, they're not paying these women for the actual sex they're paying them to go away in a prompt manner after.

Also paying for sex doesn't hold the same stigma in Spain and other parts of Europe as it does in the U.S.

In a city like Madrid or Barcelona a young man in his 20's paying for sex isn't really some shameful act the same way it is here.

Nowadays those P4P stories with footballers tend to get out in the open most of the time though so I don't know if these dudes are ripping them off or what but I still wouldn't trust taking that chance given all that these players have to lose. Plus they can never be certain of anonymity,there's no guarantee that the working girl won't try to sell her story to the first tabloid she finds after. True, but usually I expect country kits to either have a lot more effort put into them or to have a simple yet "elegant" look, which Nike did until 2014. Now everything looks like a training shirt. At least the replicas don't have those nasty chest plate designs like the one field ones do
